Since the onset of the recession, which has resulted in an increase in the appointment of contractors and subcontractors on a lowest priced basis, the number of disputes has dramatically increased.

Roger has developed a service to enable his clients to navigate through the dispute resolution process, to ensure that the best result is achieved.

STRATEGY

  Success in resolving disputes often goes to the party who adopts the best strategy. At every stage, three essential elements must be present:

  process
  programme
  budget

These three elements are developed by Roger, working closely with his clients, and must be reviewed constantly if success is to be achieved.

ROGER'S APPROACH TO CLIENTS		APPOINTMENTS & FEES
Following the initial contact, a meeting will be arranged. Once the problem has been outlined, Roger works with the client to fix objectives for the outcome of the dispute. He will then produce initial written advice as to the strategy to be adopted to maximise the chances of success. No fees will have been incurred up to this stage.		If the client wishes to appoint Roger to manage the resolution of the dispute, the extent of his services will be agreed, a letter of engagement will be produced and fee levels fixed. Roger adopts a flexible approach to fees, which includes lump sum, hourly/daily rate and no win no fee arrangements.
